Android is a complete operating environment based upon the Linux® V2.6 kernel. Initially, the deployment target for Android was the mobile-phone arena, including smart phones and lower-cost flip-phone devices. However, Android's full range of computing services and rich functional support have the potential to extend beyond the mobile-phone market. Android can be useful for other platforms and applications.
Cold Fusion
ColdFusion is the name of a commercial rapid application development platform invented by Jeremy and JJ Allaire in 1995. .ColdFusion was originally designed to make it easier to connect simple HTML pages to a database, by version 2 it had become a full platform that included an IDE in addition to a "full"scripting language. As of 2010, versions of ColdFusion include advanced features for enterprise integration and development of rich Internet applications. One of the distinguishing features of ColdFusion is its associated scripting language, ColdFusion Markup Language. CFML compares to the scripting components of ASP, JSP, and PHP in purpose and features, but its tag syntax more closely resembles HTML, while its script syntax resembles JavaScript. ColdFusion is most often used for data-driven websites or intranets, but can also be used to generate remote services such as SOAP web services or Flash remoting. It is especially well-suited as the server-side technology to the client-side Flex. ColdFusion can also handle asynchronous events such as SMS and instant messaging via its gateway interface, available in ColdFusion MX 7 Enterprise Edition.
Dot Net
The .NET Framework is a software framework that runs primarily on Microsoft Windows. It includes a large library and provides language interoperability across several programming languages. Programs written for the .NET Framework execute in a software environment ,known as the Common Language Runtime (CLR), an application virtual machine that provides important services such as security, memory management, and exception handling. The class library and the CLR together constitute the .NET Framework. The .NET Framework is the programming model of the .NET platform for building, deploying, and running XML Web services and applications. It provides a highly productive, standards-based environment for integrating existing investments with next-generation applications and services and the agility to solve the challenges of deployment and operation of Internet-scale applications. The .NET Framework consists of two main parts, common language runtime and a unified set of class libraries, including ASP.NET for Web applications and XML Web services, Windows Forms for smart client applications, and ADO.NET for loosely-coupled data access.
Flex
Adobe Flex is a software development kit (SDK) released by Adobe Systems for the development and deployment of cross-platform rich Internet applications based on the Adobe Flash platform. Flex applications can be written using Adobe Flash Builder or by using the freely available Flex compiler from Adobe.Flex is the an open source framework developed by Adobe for creating rich internet applications. Flex based applications provide real time rich experience to the user which is not possible in traditional html based applications. Currently, Flex is most popular choice because of its cross browser and cross platform features. It runs consistently among all major browsers having flash player installed in it. HTML5

Java
Java is a programming language originally developed by James Gosling at Sun Microsystems and released in 1995 as a core component of Sun Microsystems' Java platform. The language derives much of its syntax from C and C++ but has a simplerobject model and fewer low-level facilities. Java applications are typically compiled to bytecode that can run on any Java Virtual Machine (JVM) regardless of computer architecture. Java is a general-purpose, concurrent, class-based, object-oriented language that is specifically designed to have as few implementation dependencies as possible. Platform-independent Java is essential to the Java EE strategy, and an even more rigorous validation is required to certify an implementation. This environment enables portable server-side applications, such as Web services, Java Servlets, and Enterprise JavaBeans, as well as with embedded systems based on OSGi, using Embedded Java environments.
Windows Mobile
Windows Mobile is a mobile operating system developed by Microsoft for smartphones and Pocket PCs.[2] It is based on the Windows CE kernel and first appeared as the Pocket PC 2000 operating system. It is supplied with a suite of basic applications developed with the Microsoft Windows API, and is designed to have features and appearance somewhat similar to desktop versions of Windows. Third parties can develop software for Windows Mobile with no restrictions imposed by Microsoft. .
